Program News
Hello all!
March Carol Elmore from Manhattan, Kansas will be giving us a history lesson on aprons this month. If you have some old aprons stashed away, feel free to bring them for show and tell that night. Carol is also an AQS certified appraiser and charges $35. If you are interested in having a quilt appraised, please email or call me to schedule a time with her. Around the Block quilt shop will be vending at the March meeting so come prepared!! (This is the new shop in Parsons Kansas) (We are going to wait and have a workshop in April; we will announce all of the specifics on the 27th.)
April It’s time once again for our White Elephant Garage Sale!! Since Spring-cleaning is just around the corner, what better? time to straighten up your sewing room and clear out the things you might not need any more!
May If you have any suggestions for the program in May, please let me know! Any and all ideas are welcome. J Enjoy the nice weather this week! Erin erin.wampler@leggett.com
Also, just as a reminder once again, we still do not have a co-program chair. This is a very vital position for our guild. At this time we do not have anyone booking speakers for 2008! It just takes a little extra time to organize the speakers and sign a contract, if you have questions about this position, please see me at the March meeting.
FYI
Note: reminder to all guild members please refrain from talking during meeting as this is rude and distracting to the people speaking and the people who are trying to hear the speaker, Also turn of cell phones or put them on silence. Thank you for you understanding and corporation with this.
